We learned all about teeth at our local library yesterday.
This years theme for story hour is "My World--It's All About Me!". It's a fantastic way for our girls to learn about their surroundings from members of the community. Our topic today was "Good Dental Care". A dentist was scheduled to discuss proper oral hygiene with the kids but failed to show, so instead Miss Geraldine read two fantastic "Teeth" books. Maura learned a new vocabulary word from the discussion which was "saliva". She and her friends also played a counting game in which they rolled the dice to fill up their teeth charts with marshmallows.
Sophia came too and met a new friend
named Emily.
