The countdown to Thanksgiving is definitely upon us, so we crafted a little gobbler to help us remember to be grateful. Each night during dinner we add a "what we are thankful for" to one of the 26 turkey feathers. It has been a wonderful activity to do together with the children. The girls always get excited when the glue containers spring forth. 
With a little supervision and assistance, they managed to create a recognizable bird.
I'll plan to list all the things we are thankful for on or near Thanksgiving.

Cool! You have such great ideas....finger painting (my daughter saw and was jealous--I can't deal with the "mess") and cute turkey's. Wow, you are a great patient mother and teacher!
