Here are some random shots that we took this week. We are surviving, but let's just say we feel that it's "Grand Central Station" at our house the majority of the time. It's draining and rewarding all in the same breath. Gary is actually looking forward to going back to work in the morning (he's admitted that it will be like a vacation compared to what he's been doing 24/7 here). Thankfully, mom and dad have Sophia and Maura is headed to preschool in the morning, I will have the baby while everyone is gone...so it will be nice to actually have the opportunity to "sleep when the baby sleeps". Gretchen has been doing fairly well...but last night was a bit of a challenge. It seems that I'm having a bit of a war with the infamous newborn hiccups.
Maura has been so sweet to watch with the baby. She wants to hold her often and is very very nice to her.
On the other hand, we have to remind Maura to "not kill" her sister Sophia. :) No it's not that bad, but there are times when she can be such a stink to her. How could anyone be ill to this sweet face--she is the most loving little girl. Sophia's been pretty okay with the baby. Definitely needs reminders to be gentle with her touch, but no major catastrophes yet.
