Fall cleaning and meet our pumpkin family!

Whew! What a productive weekend! The weather was extra enjoyable and we chose to take advantage of it. First up was front porch cleaning. We removed the planter boxes and urns that were favorite digging spots of the girls. Surely, there will be less dirt now.





Even Sophia helped a little. She likes to swing the broom handle a bit dangerously, so you better watch out! She's officially 13 months now and is super- duper mobile and into everything!
Yes, their running through the water hose. Later that afternoon, we drove down the road to pick out our pumpkins. We live within a mile of a place that is well-equipped with gourds, pumpkins, mums, cornstalks and the like. Each of us picked our desired fall vegetable.

We fixed a spot for them on our front steps along with the scarecrows. I also put the wreath on the door. Just a few things to welcome this most beautiful time of year.

And I can already begin to see a few trees starting to turn! This makes my heart smile! :)
