But first, TIME TO EAT! We went inside the barn where it was warm and filled our tummies with grilled hotdogs, nachos with cheese, veggies and dip, and Mommy's favorite caramel apples! They had also made ghost sugar cookies and spider cupcakes for the kids. Maura is shown here blowing bubbles with her daddy. Gary and I enjoyed visiting with other parents and meeting all of Maura's new friends.
I think this was our third plate--we ate good that night, all 4 of us! :)


Now off to board the wagon. It was pitch black outside--not even a star or the moon to view. The tractor's light showed the way as we headed off into an open field for a 30 minute ride. We were warm and toasty all bundled in coats and hats. Daddy was given out free kisses on the ride to his girls--Mommy even got a couple :) Just as we were returning, it started to spit rain on our faces. Nothing hard, just enough to get a light misting. It ended up being the perfect night for a Halloween hayride.
