I came home from work one day to find 8 plastic flamingos in our front yard. What a peculiar sight here in the midwest! 
Come to find out we had been selected to participate in a project prom fundraising activity. We took it all in good spirit, donated $10, and suggested that the removal committee send them to our lovely neighbors! A pretty harmless way to raise money, huh?
