We hiked all the way to Steamboat Rock--what an accomplishment!
My sister called me early this morning and said "get things ready..we're going hiking". Initially, I laughed and thought I have 3 small children without a husband today...yeah right. But Liz 'insisted that we come and said bring the front pack and Kelty and we'll help you. So we decided to join in and ended up having a blast!
This was Gretchen's first hike and she slept most of the commute.
Uncle Steve offered to pack Sophia in the backpack (this was her 1st real hike as well). Thanks so much Uncle Steve!
Maura and her cousin Olivia held hands most of the way.
Had to stop and look for creatures in the creek.
Uncle Steve spotted a deer stand.
